20th Century Archeology

Sunday September 6th 2015

I never tire of exploring the remains of the WWII radar station at Rodel – partly owing to my Grandfather’s recollections of his time stationed on the radar on the Great Orme in North Wales. There’s some great images on including this one of the interior of one of the air-raid shelters. It would be great to take some more of my own photos. Thanks to the recent inclement weather, the interior is currently under about 18 inches of water – so maybe next summer!
